My role: Design consultant tasked with translating the web UI to a mobile app design. While designing for the app, I reshaped a handful of flows and requirements that added depth and breadth to the journey.
Project Overview
At Mr. Simon, I worked closely with their product and development leads. I helped to design the Mr. Simon mobile experience by establishing a foundation of components and patterns that pave the way for Mr.Simon on Android and iOS. I worked on designing new ways for users to engage with Mr. Simon outside the traditional interview flow.

Below is a sampling of a few apps I reviewed to understand existing patterns in products that are, in some ways, similar to Mr. Simon.
I reviewed the customer journey from end to end to identify where it was most appropriate to insert tips and feedback for the user.
I blocked out the red routes of the application to capture high-level flows, suss out constraints, and identify areas of improvement.
Met with the co-founder to hear about early stage user interviews that were conducted among their target demographic and to learn how users were already engaging with the product.
